Modified mid panel pullout to reduce the stake count and better support the long back edge.
I always modify my Zpack tents and tarps by
adding a tie out to the drip edge and then run a line from
there to the mid panel tie out (see photo).
Doing this helps support that long drip edge and
reduces the required stake count from 10 to 6 because you can
use a rock or log you find in camp.
