This is a vintage backpack from the late 1980’s and was part of the first Ultralight Revolution.

Made in Ventura, CA of 3 oz coated ripstop and 8 oz Pack cloth.  It weighs 22 oz on my scale and is around 2000 cu in or 35 lt.  Dimensions 22” Tall, Top Circumference 31”, Bottom Circumference 39”.  It is a Torso length of 18” from bottom of Pack to the Shoulder straps.  It is frameless with a sewn in foam pad on the back to provide some padding and  some load support.  The bottom is a double layer of ripstop and pack cloth and unscratched.

It has two small pockets that fit a bike water bottle.  The top “brain” pocket is good sized.  The hipbelt is 1 1/2 “ web with fabric side “wings”.  Drawstring closure of main bag.  All zippers work fine.

It is in okay condition.  The plastic attachment squares have broken.  There are two spots of the coating delaminating (pictured) but it does not smell moldy.  It is clean and still has lots of miles left  in it.
