2018 model. Looks fresh as new.  I used this pack only for winter trips here in New York, and it is well taken care of.  There is 1 shoulder strap pocket , pretty sure its a MLD. There is no hip belt or stay, as I removed them and never used or needed.  No sit/back pad as I used my thermarest Z- lite SOL pad with this pack..
