Generally I hammock, bought this in June 2021 for an European Alpine trip that was canceled due to Delta Covid surge. Laid in it a couple times to test fit (okay), one overnight in backyard. Hi, on EE website, the 950 down, 7D fabric option weighs 18.35oz and salmon color. Was this a custom quilt?
Yeah, that’s what they say and what I expected, but my scale said 19.2. It’s not custom beyond the options stated. FWIIW, I have two EE Converts, a 20° and a 40° I use as peapods on my hammock, and a Torrid Apex jacket and all weigh in about an ounce more than advertised. I like EE gear, but weights seem a little aspirational.
