    @adamg

    I am beyond frustrated with my Thermarest X-Therm. I keep on getting pinholes at the seams. They always are on the top of the pad near the head. I have used it maybe 20 times.

    I use it for snow camping in a floorless tent on top of a tyvek groundsheet. I am using a quilt with straps. The pad deflates overnight, I find the leak at home, fix it with some seam grip, and then it leaks again at a different location. The last time, I found 3 leaks all on the left side, each around 8 inches from each other.

    I have owned an X-Lite for more than 10 years at 200 nights out and never had a leak.

    Does anyone have an idea why this could happen? Is there another pad with similar R-value and weight?

    Unfortunately, Cascade Designs essentially ignores all customer support from everyone these days.
