Where to post trip reports?

It seems to me that there may be two or more places to post trip reports, and I’m not sure of the right place to post.

If I go to the COMMUNITY pulldown menu, and click on Member Trip Reports, I can post a report there. However, that trip report doesn’t show up in Recent Forum Topics. However, there also seems to be another trip report forum under Forum Index, and trip reports posted there do show up in Recent Forum Topics, but they are not available through the Member Trip Reports forum?

It’s confusing, and I think I’ve sometimes posted reports in one place and sometimes in the other place.

The official place to post member trips reports is in the community tab. Those get flagged and then we post a thread about them in the forums so that members have a place to respond and discuss. It can take a few hours if BPL is out hiking.
