There is practically nothing on the web or printed media for the West Elk Wilderness in Colorado other than hunting. Is there a reason that it appears no one backpacks there? Or at least the people who do don’t have a computer or write articles.  We are looking at some slightly lower areas in the near future that might be accessible earlier with this year’s big snows. Thanks for any hints.
