I’ve got plenty of Victorinox paring knives in black Kydex sheaths.
Dale, how is that to open or close with one hand?
Rick, do still have the smaller 3.5″ knives and what is the current price?
I have the smaller paring knives with sheaths for $27 shipped.

It’s a two hander for any practical means. You might be able to add one of those clamp on style thumb studs, but it’s hardly worth the bother.
This one would be in my pack with the rest of the cook kit. While you could cut line and do other light repairs with it, it is by and large a food prep item. With this knife, I would carry a small multitool like an SAK Classic or Leatherman Style in my pocket.
I finally ordered one of these to check it out. I gotta say, it’s bigger than I expected. I thought it would resemble the size of their fixed blade pairing knife but folding, but it feels significantly bigger in the hand. Call me weird, but I feel like Jack the Ripper carrying that thing around, especially when it’s open. The “Grizzly Bear” Opinel Junior No 7 seems like the ideal size for me both open and folded.
Now you are fully equipped to terrorize tomatoes and cheese and dispense peanut butter.
All foodstuffs shall bow before me and despair!
Can’t be Jack the Ripper with a round point.
Ahhh, but so good for slicing the ffffffava beans.
It takes so long to open that it would only be defensive against sloths.
Thanks for the size comparison Jeff. That actually looks like a decent size for me.
Other than @tops-custom-kydex offer to sell some, the market still seems picked clean for the Little Vicky with a sheath.
Okay, no Jack the Ripper. Would you buy Sweeney Todd? :-)
Would you buy Sweeney Todd?
Yeah, that could work.
