    I did a search here and didn’t see any mention of these. I heard about them from Glen Van Peski in an interview he did recently on the Backpacker Radio podcast.

    1.8 oz per pair of minimalist sandals, meant just for around camp, not for walks or hikes. Mayfly Ultralight camp shoes (sandals, really).

    They look well-thought-out. I’ve diy-ed myself a lot of similar sandals and it can be a little bit hard to get the placement of all the lines just right. It’s pretty easy to diy if you can find good materials to work with. You can buy soling sheet from Amazon. It can be hard to know what soling sheet is good for what purpose, though. I think I heard that the mayfly ones are made with the same kind of poster board they use for political yard signs, so maybe you can do some trial and error with that.
