    Hi Max,

    I haven’t been working on this or any project of late as I cut one of my middle fingers badly enough to need 8 stitches and a finger splint (since the cut/stitches goes across the knuckle).  (Also making typing more of a chore).  Anyways, I’m going to have the stitches removed tomorrow hopefully, and will get back to projects soon after.

    Thank you for letting us know about your experience. Yes, I imagine they are considerably cooler in the heat (similar to a hammock in that sense).  My motivation for trying to develop one is for an eventual extreme cold trip where I wouldn’t want to rely on the (potential) fragility of an air mat, getting up off the ground would reduce insulation needs some, and allow me to use foam for insulation.
