Tri colored Moose?

Never noticed a moose to be so color variant. This one has tan legs, dark body and brown fur on back? Seasonal color change?

This is a Shiras Moose, NE Washington

Thanks for posting, I’ve never seen a moose like that!  It’s great to see some photos posted on BPL.

Sorry I don’t have photos handy (will try later) but we have noticed moose with distinct white patches on their faces or bodies in Denali National park. We see all shades of brown too, from the very dark as in this photo above, to a much more chestnut brown.
