Coming this week, Titanium Pot 750ml w/bail Kits
Pot with lid weighs 4.5oz
Apr 27, 2018 at 12:07 pm #3532475This is what the kit will look like:
Apr 27, 2018 at 9:33 pm #3532559Hey Dan. Any way to just get one of those titanium pot holders?
Apr 28, 2018 at 12:43 pm #3532627Abraham, I’ll have some pot hangars middle of next week. Will be working on Toaks 550’s when they arrive. Got lot’s of stuff in the works, not enough hands LOL.
Apr 28, 2018 at 3:14 pm #3532642Dan, Very nice. I just might have to take the alcohol plunge. Especially since we’re heading back to Adak this summer and alcohol is the only fuel I’ve figured out how to get to that treeless, grassy volcano with no stores on it.
Do you put the ridge in?
If you do, and you were to put it an inch higher, with the exhaust holes corresponding higher, the hot exhaust gases would have more HX time and area with the lower sides of the pot. Like this Bulin pot off of eBay (1.5-liter, $25) which I’ve found to be more efficient than pot that only have HX fins on the bottom of the pots – save fuel and the cooler exhaust gases don’t heat up the handle as much.
But maybe the ridge is as far up the pot as the handles allow?
Apr 28, 2018 at 6:14 pm #3532664Thanks Dan. I certainly understand about too many pots on the fire 8-). To be clear, I was talking about the little pot stand, not, not the outer cone.
Keep up the good work!
Apr 28, 2018 at 6:21 pm #3532665David, plenty of wood in Adak :-)

These photos show where the heat accumulates when cones go up to the pots upper rim and center of pot.
Apr 28, 2018 at 8:34 pm #3532688Abraham, I don’t have any extra of the pot supports. They are earmarked for Toaks kits, sorry.
Apr 30, 2018 at 12:54 am #3532863Is there a link for the pot and/or kit?
Apr 30, 2018 at 1:19 am #3532869@nathanmeyerson, life matters have a way of slowing things down
I’ll send you a PM with some info.
David, yes…I have discovered a way to add the ridge to the Titanium. It’s fun working with Ti.
May 9, 2018 at 9:45 pm #3534576Attention everyone that wants a free Starlyte Gold when purchasing a kit.
When you are at the sale page you will see a box, above “add to cart” button that says “Discount Code”. In that box write Roger sent me. This is what the page looks like:
May 13, 2018 at 3:24 am #3535143Want to leave feedback, these pots are perfect in my opinion, perfect size for soup without spilling, and enough coffee to actually feel alive. Seem a slight bit thicker than my other toaks, which explains the 3.5oz weight without lid vs 3.3toaks 750ml, but I prefer durability over .2oz. ALSO the lid actually has a snug fit which blew me away, toaks lid rattling and the fragile thin walls on my two biggest gripes about Toaks. Perfect investment since I have the 550ml and wanted more cooking options.
May 13, 2018 at 3:27 am #3535144Also those new gold starlytes are rad, faster than my modified one when alcohol consumption isnt a bother, and I used the lid as a stand for the stove which got it a bit closer to the pot, enough to get a good mushroom flame shape 11/10
May 13, 2018 at 1:46 pm #3535199Russell, thanks for the feedback.

It’s my understanding that there is one major company manufacturing titanium pots for anyone who wants a specific design. Toaks, Keith, Vargo, Tomshoo etc. are made by that one company. Different specifications for different folks. Your Tomshoo brand is much more robust than the Toaks and the lids fits better :-) This kit was put together for those that do bushcrafting and use wood as their goto fuel. They hang the pot over their little campfires via the bail. I thought I’d offer it first to BPL.
Thanks Dan. I certainly understand about too many pots on the fire 8-). To be clear, I was talking about the little pot stand, not, not the outer cone.
Abraham, I do have some of the titanium pot supports you asked for. I misunderstood when I first read your question. If still interested send me a message via “contact us” form at http://www.woodgaz-stove.com/ My daughter (shipping dept :))will send an invoice.

David, the ridge height is mostly governed by the bottom of the handles. The ridge has to go full diameter of pot or else the pot would deform. This is especially true for the Toaks Light pots.
