I was wondering if anyone has done the Three Passes route in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness in Montana? The route is described in Bill Schneider’s Hiking the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness guidebook (2015 version), and it sounds like a superb backpack route. However I can’t find any other information about it on the web, nor any trip reports. If you have any beta on the route, it’d be great to hear about your experience.
