    Hey, with the right pricepoint and enough hype, someone is going to be laughing all the way to the bank, retiring early, and hiking til their heart’s content…likely with a regular pack.

    Reminds me of another proposal, to use the ‘bounce’ of the pack from the spring in your step to recharge your phone. You just needed to add 5 or 10 kg of generator to your pack.

    From memory (which is poor), a full day’s walking might replace the charge used for one phone call.
