    @moondog55

    I have a pole set

    No tent to go with it as I picked it up at a clearance sale for $5-

    It is a reasonable hubbed pole set tho for something similar to a Hubba

    The trouble with tents designed around hubbed poles it that they are all [ it seems] erected in 2 goes and integral pitch seems impossible, not what I want in a ripper of a blow when solo.

    I’m sitting here and thinking and I just wondered what a tent that combined the triangulation of the big hubs and a full sleeve for a ridge pole look like and wondering how it would perform and how difficult would it be to make?

    Theoretical question so wild ideas welcome and encouraged

    Fairly sure AliExpress sells Hubba style tent inner and maybe fly separately w/o pole set. (Domesticated reply).
