I just figured I’d post my current tenkara kit as well as its contents and weights. Any suggestions or comment are welcome.

Pouch- 24 Grams
Zimmerbuilt custom pouch, same dimensions as his shoulder strap pockets but with d rings added at all corners, a dyneema X front pocket, and grossgrain tabs on either side of the zipper. I also added a lanyard. The pouch is just a smidge too small, but the morell still fits but it is kind of troublesome to remove.  If I had to do it again I would have it made 4×6×1.5 and without the two lower d-rings or grossgrain loops.

Fly Box- 26 Grams

Tippet- 9 Grams
Trout Hunter mono 5x, it was the lighest tippet I weighed at 9 grams vs rio at 14 and orvis at 11. Also, with trout hunter you get 50 meters, vs 30 with other brands. To further lighten, I have considered removing the center of the spool, but I haven’t bothered.

Line- 2 Grams
