Planning a trip to Tasermiut Fjord this summer and looking for solid intel on a specific section. Most of my route is dialed in, but the stretch I’m eyeing (marked in purple) is a bit of an unknown.

Old hiking maps from the late ‘90s have a route marked on it, but they’re widely considered unreliable. I haven’t found any firsthand accounts from experienced backpackers who’ve done it. The only trip report I came across said the terrain was too rough, but it’s unclear how experienced they were or what “too rough” meant in their case.

I’ve been poring over satellite imagery, trying to assess viability. I’ll have a packraft, and tides seem workable, but I’d prefer to stay on foot if practical. If anyone has been through this area or has access to useful geo data, I’d appreciate any insights.
