    or.. WM Ultralite with Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite NXT

    Thinking weight is a wash… So..

    Which  would you choose and why

    Would buy the Nemo product.   Thermarest I would not buy, as they have a long history.  Gave up on them long ago.

    Sorry to answer your question indirectly.

    For my case use, I would buy a WM MegaLite and a Nemo Tensor all Season size WM or LG

    Even better would be WM AstraLite and the same mat as above

    Reason- I camp between 25F and 50F range low temp, Can always supplement with a thin CCF foam pad under the Nemo to add only 4oz if camping on snow or frozen ground. I prefer a wider bag or quilt and can wear Alpha or Down upper layer in the sleeping bag if I get cold at night. I will never sleeping on a 20″ wide mat ever again, needs to be minimum 25″ wide. Thermarest NeoAir are not bad, I just prefer the baffles and shape of the Nemo, (rectangle vs mummy).
