    That is why I never see them…
    The local birders post some amazing photos of them but often use lights to find them (not OK from my point of view)

    Franco, the Towny Frogmouth is one crazy looking owl! It looks like a hybrid falcon…

    I was blessed one morning to zip out of the tent, doing some stretches and a couple of Snowy Owls were perched on a branch 30-40 feet away. One of them looked right at me, or through me, hooted a couple times and they flew off silently, gracefully, and probably disappointed in themselves for being seen…
