Zimmerbuilt is my favorite and I have tried a lot of them. I like a Gatorade bottle up front in it. 500ml Smartwater is nice too. The sport top SW bottle (691ml?) starts getting tippy. 1L works but is annoying.

I’ve just started using the Waymark bottle holder. Perfect for 700ml and seems easy to go use. 1 liter was too tall.

I just checked out the Zimmerbuilt holder and bought a few items from them.

I have a couple of these Aquaclips around somewhere, but keep forgetting to use them:

Available from many sources in many colors. Zpacks overbuilt one:

For Smartwater bottles and similar only.

I have had Aquaclips break within the first hour of use. Disappointing.

    Update

Thanks for the Zimmerbuilt recommendation, the water bottle holder works great.

I also picked up a hip belt pouch, this pouch is great, I use it on my sternum strap. The clips work perfectly to secure it in place and allow it to be easly removed. I put all my food and snacks in it for the day and then remove it in seconds to put it in a bear can or Ursak. No food goes in any pack pockets or pouches, this drastically reduces the chances of a rodent chewing through them.

    The pricing is great too.
