In the 70s Stevensonn Warmlite had a prototype tent with multi layers of reflectvie fabric hanging from the interior of the tent.  I think they claimed it would keep you warm enough to sleep without a sleeping bag.

Has anyone here experienced this tent or something similar?

Stephenson did some wacky things back then! This one might top them all.

My 1995 Stephenson 2R has an inner layer of ‘reflective’ ripstop in the main part of the tunnel. It’s a warm tent for sure, but a sleeping bag still comes in handy, lol. The aluminized fabric also keeps condensation from forming in that area.

Btw, I have it listed for sale in gear swap. It was awhile ago, so several pages back by now. I think I asked $165.

I don’t recall seeing info on that tent but one that would know is bruce Johnson.

Like Nunatak, I also had a Warmlite with the reflective interior. It was a nice shelter overall, but definitely not warm enough to camp without a sleeping bag. While not part of your question, I also didn’t really like the pre-formed poles. Made setting up at night a pain in the butt, since you needed to have the poles put together and inserted into the sleeve just so.
