My son got mugged in Minneapolis last week, so I’m sending him a replacement wallet for his birthday today (and brownies and other things in the care package).  I got him one full-sized wallet that accommodates lots of bank notes, credit cards, IDs loyalty cards, etc.  And because I’ve liked having the option of a very small “wallet” that would hold just my driver’s license, credit card, a Bandaid, and 3-5 bills, I was thinking, also, of a mini-wallet which I’ve found a few times on MassDrop or Sharper Image for about $20.  They’re nice to tuck into a tuxedo for a charity event and the (very) few times my teenage daughter wears a dress instead of jeans and t-shirt, it gives her a slimmer option.

And there I was, in Walmart, looking at a $7 tri-fold wallet, and had the inspiration that it was, in fact, a pair of scissors away from being THREE sleek little mini-wallets (for $2.34 each).  Photos in the next post.

I think this series of photos should be self explanatory.

Why I am not allowed to edit my own second post?!?   Is there some AI noticing that I said some negative things about the crappier photo-insertion tool being difficult to use, hence my comment and photos being in reverse order?  Trying again:

The dollar bills and ID shown extending from the mini-wallets are for illustrative purposes only, they all fit fully within the three mini-wallets.

Two of them come out looking pretty sleek, not quite the $20 version but far better than $2.37/$20 of that.  The last one is a little ratty looking on the back.  Functional, slim, and cheap, but more clearly chopped out of something else.

There’s something weird going on for sure. Each of my last couple of new threads have showed up as two each, that is, I created a new thread and when I look at the forum there are two although I only created one.
