I am certainly not an expert on the subject, but my understanding is that Seek Outside hardly ever offers discounts for their shelters. However, it looks like Seek Outside has a new retailer (maybe their first) called Argali Outdoors. It looks like Argali is running a sale until April 1st on all Seek Outside products. The site seems to be geared mostly to the hunting crowd. It appears that they offer all of the Seek Outside tents and tipis.

FYI, I don’t own or work for Seek Outside or Argali. Just tying to pass along some info.

Wow, some craziness happened to my first post. Not sure why. And since I can’t edit it, I am just going to do this again.

A new company called Argali Outdoors is a retailer for Seek Outside. For those that don’t know, Seek Outside makes sil-nylon tents and tipis that seem to have a very good reputation. Argali is offering 10% off their entire site until April 1st as a Grand Opening. To the best of my knowledge, Seek Outside stuff is barely every on sale, so this may be the time to buy.

I have an old version of the Seek Outside LBO shelter with the 3 piece vestibule that has served me very well. I had a chance to see a friend’s Seek Outside DST tarp setup last year and I plan to buy one. Having the integrated pouch/pocket for the trekking pole in the center of the tarp makes for a really nice 2-man shelter that is fairly storm-worthy, assuming you pitch the open end in a protected manner.
