Staring this Wednesday at 0900 MDT and running for 48 hours, the code pack15 will get you 15% all packs and pack stuff. Here at the mothership in Grand Junction we’ve got a pile of Divides in stock, both colors, as well as 3900 and 4800 Unaweeps, and our new belt pouches.
If you order and your box is taped a bit less than professionally, that would be me. It’s my second week, take it easy.

Dec 6, 2016 at 8:53 pm #3439191Huzzah! Was just thinking about ordering a Divide.
Thanks Dave.
Dec 6, 2016 at 8:54 pm #3439192Whoops, got too excited and did a double post.

Dec 9, 2016 at 11:41 am #3439688Big thanks folks. We sold a lot of packs during the sale, especially Divides, cleaning out our stock quite handily. Some of you who waited until the last minute (this morning) will be waiting a bit, but we’ll try to get everything out by the end of this coming week.
Dec 9, 2016 at 3:27 pm #3439736Dave, thanks for the heads up on ETA. I spent a few hours late into the night reading posts about the divide pack. I deliberated between alpine grey and expedition olive. The paranoia in me decided on the x42 fabric. I prefer grey over green but I think the 3oz bump for durability will be worth it. And this is just my opinion but if there is a slightly darker grey for use on future packs in the X21 fabric- I would prefer that.
I wasn’t disappointed by the BT-2 which I bought based on your review, so I am sure I will enjoy this pack a lot. I think the capacity and form factor will be a bit large for short weekend trips that I do but the extra comfort and ease of use over a lightly framed pack will be welcome. My first pack was a frameless MLD Expdus followed by an Exodus with a carbon stay/inflatable pad and now I have an MLD prophet with upgraded suspension. Lightweight and Spartan but I am definitely feeling a lot on my shoulders especially for dry hikes. And I can get flustered by needing too pack very methodically with a minimal frame. The Divide will allow me to keep a bag ready to go and loosely stuffed and capapable of heavy water loads during summer here in SoCal.
I just want to throw out that every time I’ve contacted seek outside they always seem eager to help- they never seem annoyed or busy- even though they probably are. :) Although, I’ve never gotten bad customer service from any other cottage outfit sometimes the enthusiasm is neutral.
I am happy to support Seek Outside and it’s a brand with a philosophy of use I can connect with.
Dec 10, 2016 at 7:04 am #3439832I’m already all set up with a Unaweep & accessories, but got a jealous buddy of mine to order a great pack. Excellent deal and a nice move to add on the BHA membership. Probably my fave outdoor organization doing conservation work. Well done, SeekOutside!
Dec 10, 2016 at 10:31 pm #3439940We appreciate the business. I’m new to the retail side of the industry and the excitement of being able to share your handiwork is more real than I could have imagined.
The olive Divide is our most popular pack for a reason; it does everything, most of those things pretty darn well (in my opinion). You wear out X42, but it takes a lot of doing, more than most folks will do in many years.
If you’ve called Seek Outside in the past 18 months most likely you’re spoken with Luke, for whom being excellent on the phone is only one of about 4 or 5 distinct jobs he does. It’s a good place to work. We’ll all be sewing and boxin’ late on Monday.
Jan 10, 2017 at 11:21 pm #3444459Looking forward to your next flash sale! I want me a Divide…
Jan 11, 2017 at 11:30 pm #3444677We’ve got a seconds Olive on sale at the moment. I wouldn’t hold your breath for another sale, it will be cold again in all probability.
