Does anyone have any experience on these two tent systems and or other suggestions besides the usual hilley?  My big concern is durability (50 plus days of UV year after year) and holding up to a fair snow dump with out me being there to do the knock and shake.

My intended use would be winter camps below tree line western CO.  The tent would typically be set up for a couple days in a location before being moved to a new location.  Off trail with limited flat tent pitching options is the norm.  The tent would be left unattended all day so it would need to be robust enough to handle a days worth of snow.  Usually dry snow except in November and April.  I still need it light due to moving off trail cross country and I carry a fair amount of optics and other gear.

    Thanks for any input.
