I have read similar suggestions elsewhere regarding lakes but the advice about creek crossings is new to me. Your thickness may vary, etc.

OK, my attempt to attach a link did not work. I give up after spending too much time. Just go to Missoulian.com subheading lifestyles subheading recreation subheading through the ice.

Thanks Ethan. It seems to be a bug related to Android?? The virtual keyboard lingers above the lower part of the link dialog box. I cannot get rid of the keyboard and cannot scroll down to all the useful parts of the dialog box. Or it could be my ineptness :).

Now, back to your regular program…..
