I recently returned from a wilderness hot springs backpacking trip with 5 women friends. The trailhead is remote, and the trail itself is only 10 miles, but with some significant elevation gain and loss, starting with an 1100 foot drop, then a 1200 foot gain, and another 1100 foot drop into the springs area…
All the tribulations totally worth it by the look of that hot tub! I wish there were more relatively remote places like that (especially down where I live).
