REI Flagship Store opening in Washington, DC

In honor of the Washington DC Flagship store (Opening in October), REI is hosting a hundred days of outdoor events. While I’m excited at seeing a flagship store arrive here, especially in the city limits, I’m saddened to hear they are planning on closing my old employer: Store 27, in College Park, MD (one of the oldest REI’s east of the Mississippi) – in early 2017.
