An increasing amount of hikers are turning to skirts and kilts for greater mobility and versatility in the backcountry. I felt it high time to give it a try
Excellent review, and I can confirm your findings. Am a male hiker who has been wearing Purple Rain skrt for about two years. Tried 23 different skirts, and Ms. Bland’s design and construction is the best of all. The PR skirt or kilt are excellent for exercise walking, hiking, and backpacking. I wear the PR skirt more that I do the PR kilt model. I will not go back to shorts, even for casual wear around town. Hope to see more skirted men and women on the trail.
I absolutely love my purple rain skirt. They were even nice enough to make it a tad longer as I am not a teenager anymore…;-) It is so nice in hot climates. It keeps you modest when having to eliminate. I can’t say enough nice things about this skirt……
