Hi folks,
I’m making a beaked tarp shelter from silnylon and would like an apex tie out where the main body meets the beak. The apex will be reinforced for use with a trekking pole.
For strength and water resistance, is it more effective or practical to sew webbing/grosgrain directly to the outside of the fabric, or work it into the seam between body and beak somehow?
Please point me in the right direction if this has been covered before, I didn’t turn anything up searching the forums
Cheers,
Ross
