Post-wildfire Appalachian trail closures

I know a lot of trails have been affected by the recent fires in the souther Appalachians.  Sections of the AT such as the Smokies are closed.  Other sections may be closed or unsuitable for backpacking.  I thought it would be good to list any information on this for those of us planning winter and spring trips.
