Permethrin Shelf Life

I got some permethrin concentrate at Tractor Supply a few years ago. I mix it with water and put it into a spray bottle when I am prepping gear for a hike. The bottle of concentrate is only about half gone. I’ll soon be prepping for a spring hike, and I’m wondering how long it remains effective?

I had the same question s few years ago. If I recall my research suggested 3-5 years if properly sealed.

Sawyer’s says their permethrin shelf life is 10 years.

I’ll go with the 10 years, or at least a couple more years. I’d hate to have to dispose of this stuff.
