No, it’s not the cheapest option out there but Patagonia Provisons soups sound delicious and healthy. Unfortunately I do not live near one of their stores and I resent their shipping costs if I’m just ordering a package or two to try it.
Has as anyone tried it? Does one package provide two nice servings or is it more like a one person meal?
That is very, very low calorie for the http://www.patagoniaprovisions.com/products/tsampa-garden-veggie-dry-soup-mix Even both servings together would only be a starter. 120 calories per serving is very, very low.
Well, the Black Bean is 290 calories. But a serving is only 1 cup dry (some are 1/2 cup) which is very small. I doubt that these are meant as a meal in itself.
Anyway, they look like they run 90-100 calories per ounce dry weight. Not horrible, but there’s better out there. I guess you could eat two or more servings with a squirt of olive oil or something.
