I’ve still got my old Powermax stoves and plan on keep on using them.  I have a stash of Powermax fuel bottles and the Lindahl adapter.  Unfortunately I broke a leg on my Xtreme stove (don’t ask, sigh…), the one with three legs.  The broken leg is the one that the fuel tube connects to.

Anyone have an old broken Xtreme stove, or parts lying around?

    Hi Elliot

No spares right now, but repairs are always possible. Do you have a photo of the broken leg?

    Cheers

It looks to be cast out of aluminum.  That’s not super hard to do, but it’s not easy, either.  If I only needed one of them, I’d cut it from aluminum stock.  Which would have to be pretty thick if you do the same kind of attachments for the pot support and the fuel tube.  So I’d probably laminate something together from SS-gauge* material with rivets, counter-sunk screws and/or JB-Weld.

SS-gauge* = aluminum the thickness of a stop sign.  Available at most street corners.

Yeah, they are cast, but whether just Al or something else – not sure. The tricky bit is anchoring the steel supports.

    Cheers
