What paperwork should the lead advisor have on him on the trail?  Do u bring the health forms of your crew members.

There is no paperwork that the Lead Advisor needs to do in the backcountry.  On the trail, the Crew Leader takes care of everything.

I scanned our health forms to .pdf and had them on my phone, just in case, but that was just a precaution.

No paperwork for Advisor to carry or take – all stays in Basecamp.

@ AT Grimaldi. I would think you need to check the latest version of the Philmont Advisors Packet to see what you paperwork you need to carry.  The med forms are all turned at the medical meeting in base camp.

I found very useful to carry a hardcopy. I had a Scout who was not his usual cheerful and agreeable self on the trail. I went back and read his med form.  Long story short, he was on some very strong meds that were not working the way they should have been.

You can always use the paper to start the emergency warming fire after the hail storm hits your crew on top of Mt Phillips.

Guys, Thank you all so much.  I think I will keep a 2 page per side, double sided copy of them with me for the trek.  Better safe than sorry.

Thanks @matthewphx, I wasn’t aware. I had already destroyed the .pdf from last year, but I’ll make sure we don’t scan the forms moving forward.
