Overnight Backpacking Trip near Frisco, CO

I am looking for an overnight backpacking trip in mid-August near Frisco, CO. Some place scenic and not too crowded. I am thinking of trying the Eagles Nest Wilderness. Perhaps Elliot Ridge, camp at Mirror or one of the Cataract Lakes, and then on to Black Creek Road (1700). Is this doable as a two day, one night backpack? Anyone know current trail conditions? The most recent I can find is from 2019 and says trail is almost impassable between Surprise Lake and Road 1700.

Any other ideas for an overnight backpack in the area?
