Me and a friend are planning on taking a fun adventure the third week in July. We have allowed 7 days for our trip, but I am still working on day’s 5,6,7. The spirit of the trip was to get to some areas that we have never been before and try some “off trail” backpacking.

Comments on the first 4 days? (Day 1 is short, but we are driving to the trail head from Las Vegas and probably won’t get started until noon or so.)
Any suggestions for getting to Florence Lake from where my planning ends? Up through indian lakes, mosquito pass, heather lake and down to san joaquin river? OR over to ruddy’s hole, red rock basin and thompson lake?
other thoughts?
