Full zip, 10.9oz. $150, uses their Torrent fabric.

Anyone have one? I’ve been looking for a lightweight hoody with a full zip. Curious if this is as warm an Pata R1

too bad Arcteryx doesn’t list the fabric weight like Patagonia does, makes comparisons a little easier

the R1 has a listed weight of 12.9 so a couple of ounces heavier- that could be just a function of heavier weight fleece?????

I see the Adahy has double the amount of lycra/elastane- that’s not usually a good sign for warmth (or drying times) with fleece in my experience

I agree. Lighter weight and double elastic makes it much less warm and longer dry time, except its thinness might make up for that a little.

Also no grid so no extra air being trapped, so less warm under a shell.

I nearly pulled the trigger on one last week but the 2017 Mountain Equipment Eclipse looks like it might be a better fabric option, I’m just not sure if I’ll miss the hand warmer pockets though.

that helps :)  slightly lighter fabric on the Adahay- 5.6 oz vs 6.3

for comparison the Patagonia Thermal Weight garments use a 3.8 oz grid fabric, so the Adahy is going to be a lot closer to the R1 than the Thermal Weight

I tend to get pretty hot hiking in the R1, so maybe this will be just enough to keep me warm while still being able to vent as I’m hiking.

The torrent is what they use in the rho lt. Its like really thin powerstretch, which is what the rho ar is. I love my rho lt but i dont see why there would be a hoody of it
