I am looking for techniques and advice about crossing natural bridges. So far, I have chosen to get my feet wet. <span style=”line-height: 1.8;”>But I would appreciate advice from those brave hikers who have better sense of balance after watching a fellow hiker fall into a creek after an unsuccessful attempt. </span>
There is no definitive answer but always consider the possible outcome from not managing to complete the crossing – sprained ankle or worse. Getting wet isn’t usually an issue if the weather is clement.
As I mainly walk solo I am very risk averse in these situations and even with a group a fall could ruin the trip.
