The last month I took a swing at making a relatively cheap UL set. It took quite some research before I found the gear I liked most, and perhaps this post will save future beginner sewists some time. I had next to no sewing experience before starting this project, and I encourage everyone new to making gear to give it a try, starting from simple to the more complex pieces.
