I use an MSR fold-up aluminum windscreen that I cut lower for my 3 cup Trail Designs pot.
-> Also I use a cut down pie plate for a heat shield between the canister and burner. I cut a hole in the center so it just fits over the canister’s threaded valve. Then my Brunton Crux stove screws on holding the pie plate heat reflector in place.
-> The windscreen sits on top of the pie plate heat reflector.Â
-> I’ve bent the edges of the pie plate reflector up 1/4″ Â all around to hold the windscreen in place.
-> I cut the heat reflector in half and re-conected it with Gorilla duct tape on the underside. This permits it to be folded for better storage. When held in place with the burner it stays flat.
