    @olddude

    In 2 weeks I’ll be in Conway for 3 days (Sept 15-17) and hoping on one of those I’d have good weather for making summit. I’d start at Pinkham Notch at hwy 16 then choose either Tuckerman Ravine, Lion Head, or the longer trek to Boott Spur and make this a loop. Also, could consider an overnight and stay at Hermit Lake shelter. Thoughts?

    I’m aware the weather can be deadly as I read on Aug 24 a 72 yr old man died unprepared. He was on the Gulfside trail where he was found. If I choose not to summit are there other 8-10 miles hikes that I should consider, e.g. the Wildcat ridge trail from the Glen Ellis TH.
