    Locale: Central Texas

    I am planning a trip to the WMW, northwest of Ruidoso, NM near the end of September. I was wondering if anyone has knowledge about the amount of monsoonal moisture the area has been receiving. This part of New Mexico has been so dry, I hope there has been copious moisture. Specifically, I’m interested in the springs around Spring Cabin and if water is flowing in Little Bonito Creek. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. One can’t start planning too soon.

    Well… your best read on the conditions will be the week before you go.

    It could be totally dry between now and then… or it could rain buckets…

    But not too early to line up contacts to call the week before… hopefully someone close to the area of interest…
