First time I’ve seen swans east of the Cascades in Washington.  Usual suspects like egrets, herons, and ducks made for a lively racket.
I spent a couple minutes having a stare down with a young buck who ultimately decided he didn’t want to fight me, I wasn’t food, or worth trying to mate with.
