Interested in acquiring a “Leatherman Tread”. Equally starting on developing some customised links to replace some of the items typically found on a multi-tool.

Interested to know if anyone else has thought of this or developed either viable ideas or created their own solutions. I’ve just completed the design for incorporating a retractable knife into a link, new will be a LED light which I think has been attempted once before.

I have never heard of the Tread before this post. It looks interesting, I would love to see one in action though since it seems that using the hex wrenches would put a lot of strain on all of the connectors if you were using the band stretched out flat as the lever. The watch looks like an expensive upgrade and would not be for me.
