I am taking a trip to Joshua Tree this week. I will have a few days there to explore. I was hoping someone could recommend some good overnight backpacking routes as well as some good day hikes/points of interest to explore.
I am also looking to do some bouldering in Joshua tree and I am looking for a spot with lots of easy and obvious v0’s and v1’s as I am very new to climbing. Any help is appreciated! It will be my first time to the area.
We did the California Hiking and Riding Trail from the Key View Road to the west. Â We did an out and back. Â It was my first trip there. Â There were tons of flowers, great scenery, lots of wildlife, and plenty of solitude. Â I would reccomend that area.
Going to J-Tree in march for the first time. Â Looking to do an overnight and then a night at a campground. Â I’ll the reservation sites are booked so so just looking for some tips. Â Looks like pleasant valley is the most picturesque. Â Does anyone have any recommendation for a quick, beautiful, overnight in Joshua Tree.
