I have been known to enjoy some awfully good post-hike tacos at Alfonso’s in Payson, AZ. True story: we drove past in on the way in for one trip around Easter a couple years ago and had planned on stopping there the next day on our way home. When we drove up we discovered that it had a massive fire the night before. Blog post from Carrot Quinn here: https://carrotquinn.com/2019/04/29/mrt-day-11-alfonsos-burns-down/
They have since reopened at a new location adjacent to the old spot.
