Just got back from 7 days in La Cloche Silhouette with the new 2024 Kakwa 55.
At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, this pack is fantastic.
A chronic shoulder injury requires putting most all the weight on my hips and the internal frame let me transfer full 31lb load to the hip belt with no chafing, irritation or sore spots whatsoever. Really comfortable. Really.
The front pocket is a cavern, I filled it with all the things I might want while moving plus wet gear and it stayed secure and let me organize the interior much more simply and securely.  The shoulder pads caused no irritation or chafing. The attachment points are well thought out and the front bottom ones were ideal for holding my camp sandals. It doesn’t sit a mile high in back so worked really well with my poncho in the rain, which was a breeze to put on and off solo.
The only tricky part was that its narrower on the bottom so my sleeping bag is a tight fit. I’m allergic to down so use synth but the bag is only 5.3l compressed. An Enlightened Equipment Revelation Apex might require some more ingenuity to pack.
