Outdoor Research Transcendent Down- Black- $45 – Has been professionally patched on left sleeve.  The baffle was not sewn through anywhere that there wasn’t already stitching, so it does not change the performance.  Patched with one of Patagonia’s patters from a down jacket.  Also visible are some faint rub marks right in the area of the patch.

Columbia Insulated Soft-shell- Green- $50–  I love this thing!  It’s essentially a heavy fleece hoody with a dwr coating and hard face to repel water.  This is one of those great “shovel the driveway” jackets.

REI Elements Insulated Hardshell- Dark Brown- $65  – I don’t know the specifics of this jacket but it’s great!  Fleece lined but not too bulky.  Fully waterproof.  I love the cuffs, as they feature the fleece liner which grips well around the wrist to prevent drafts.

REI Softshell- Heathered Black- $45 –Mid-weight polartec soft-shell.  I can’t recall wearing this more than two or three times….
