    Hi Everyone,

I’m going to be hiking the Sierra High Route (with some PCT/JMT substitutions as needed) starting on August 14th. Besides Uber, would anyone happen to know of a shuttle service, willing driver, or other cost-effective means of transportation to get to the Road’s End Permit Station from the Fresno area? (I’m flying into LAX)

If anyone out there happens to be starting from Road’s End on the same day, let me know and I’d be happy to split transportation.

    Chris

I know there’s a guy (company? group?) who shuttles hikers between Vermilion Valley Resort and Fresno. No idea the name, but if you called or emailed VVR, you might be able to find out and go from there. Good luck!

Without looking up the particulars, I believe that in summer months there is a bus from the valley into Sequoia, and from there you could hitch to Road’s End.
